Directions from Pisa Airport

1. Leave the airport on the Firenze -Pisa -Livorno (Fi-Pi-Li) motorway (this is the only exit from the airport) following signs to Firenze (Florence)
2. Drive for about 25 minutes continuing to follow signs to Firenze. Exit the Fi-Pi-Li at the 2nd Pontedera which is just after the marker 28 (these are positioned on the central reservation) at the tunnel named Romito.
3. You will then come onto a roundabout with colourful stands in the centre (looks a bit like a circus). Take the exit for Volterra & Palaia.
4. Drive through the villages of Val di Cava and Fabbri. After Fabbri follow the directions to Forcoli. Pass through Forcolli and after 2Km turn left to Palaia (may be sign posted Borgo Di Colleoli.
5. When you get to Palaia turn left after the 2nd arch (don't panic you will get through them!!)
6. Drive for approx 2Km and you will arrive at the Borgo.
7. To reach the car park turn right at out of the entrance, up the hill on the left.
8. Once you have parked your car walk down towards the buildings, on the left is the Villa (a large "hotel type" building) and further on to the right is the Enoteca (with tables, chairs & umbrella's out side) Just past the last table is an archway, go through this arch & the one beyond it. Apartment 12 is the first one to the right hand side.
